About
Welcome to Kindai Global Media!
This is an English-language media platform run by students and staff at Kindai University in Osaka, Japan. Here, exchange students and local students share stories, reflections, and insights about campus life and their experiences in Japan.
At Kindai University, students take a variety of English-taught courses focused on Japanese society and culture—learning inside the classroom while experiencing Japanese daily life firsthand.
This platform gives students a space to reflect on these experiences and share their unique perspectives through articles, photos, and videos. For readers in Japan and around the world, it offers an authentic look at Japanese culture and society through the eyes of international students.
We invite you to read, connect, and discover Japan with us!
About Kindai University
Kindai University is one of the largest comprehensive private universities in Japan, with six campuses across western Japan. We offer 16 undergraduate faculties and 15 graduate schools, alongside a junior college, a distance learning division, and affiliated schools from kindergarten through high school.
Our educational philosophy is centered on "practical education”. One of our landmark achievements is the world’s first full-cycle aquaculture of Pacific bluefin tuna, widely known as "Kindai Maguro." Building on decades of research, Kindai continues to drive innovation across diverse academic fields.
